Working with CADFEM (Link) and INYO, I had the opportunity to transform raw simulation data into a photorealistic animation, turning complex technical outputs into a marketable visualization. Using Houdini and Blender, I processed and unified position, steering, and lidar data generated by the Ansys. This involved translating raw datasets into smooth, accurate animations that visually communicate the technology’s potential.
The cab’s journey takes place in Grafing, brought to life through a highly detailed 3D environment created by 3D Mapping. Integrating this environment with the simulation data required meticulous optimization and alignment, ensuring every element worked seamlessly together.
This visualization elevates technical simulation data into a format that’s not only accurate but also accessible and engaging for a broader audience. It bridges the gap between raw data and marketable storytelling, showcasing the potential of autonomous driving in a way that resonates beyond technical circles.
